Competition was particularly tight this year, with so many auditions wowing us from the very first week of the show.
All the finalists burst out of the gate from their very first moments, with Thando Sikwila earning four chair turns from the coaching panel with her rendition of I’m Every Woman by Chaka Khan.
She’s claimed she auditioned in part for her daughter, Charlie, to show her to chase her own dreams.
“All I wanted for her to do was just to see me being the best version of myself and being happy so that she can want that for herself and know that it's okay. To just do what makes you happy. It's very important to me that she knows that,” Thando told our sister site, New Idea.
Soulful singers Jordan Tavita and Faith Sosene also had us cheering them on from the very beginning.
Faith’s audition was dedicated to her mother, whom she cares for full time. She sang Because You Loved Me, by Celine Dion, her mother’s favourite song. Tonight, she performed Beautiful by Christina Aguilera, and sang a duet version of Emotions by Mariah Carey.
Jordan has also revealed that he’s been inspired by his family along his journey, too.
He shared tonight that his performance of Foreigner's massive hit I Want To Know What Love Is, which he dedicated to his Nanna, was one of his favourite performances of the competition.
Tonight, he sang Ghost Town by Benson Boone, and performed a version of Hallelujah with his mentor, Guy.
Even though we have a winner now, we can’t wait to see what all of these finalists do in their forthcoming careers!
Congratulations to Lachie Gill and Team Rita!
