What is XO, Kitty about?
XO, Kitty is a spin-off series of the To All the Boys I've Loved Before franchise. Taking centre stage in the series is Lara Jean's youngest sister Kitty who, after receiving a scholarship at a school in Seoul, travels to South Korea to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae.
While her reunion with Dae may have been unconventional, Kitty's heart is soon put through an emotional rollercoaster, and it's safe to say that season one was love triangles galore!
At the conclusion of season one, we see Kitty headed back to the U.S. and her heart torn between three romantic options, leaving fans eager for answers to the heart-wrenching season one cliffhanger.
Who does Kitty end up with?
Following the last episode of season one, fans were eager to uncover who Kitty decided to pursue a relationship with. Despite Kitty having multiple options, XO, Kitty star Anna Cathcart tells Tudum, "Kitty doesn't need a person, obviously. It's very cool that she doesn't have a person by the end."
"She's essentially choosing herself and choosing the space to figure that out... The best choice you can make is one that you feel is right in your gut."
When is XO, Kitty Season 2 coming out?
Although production has officially commenced in South Korea, the release date for XO, Kitty season two has yet to be confirmed.
According to The Economic Times, filming will take place over a three-month block between April and June 2024 and factoring in post-production, it is believed that season two of XO, Kitty will be released in 2025.
Who is the cast of XO, Kitty?
While the announcement of season two was exciting enough, it was also revealed that three new faces would soon be joining the cast of XO, Kitty season two.
Joining the cast as a new series regular Stella is Wyrm's Audrey Huynh, with Sasha Bhasin and Joshua Lee joining as recurring characters Praveena and Jin.
Returning to season two of XO, Kitty is Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, and Regan Aliyah and Juliana.
