The first slide saw him setting his GPS when a call from Rebecca arrived.
“Bec’s already calling,” he told the camera.
Andy followed it up with a tearful snap of Rebecca holding their dog, Henri.
“She was a little sad when I left, not knowing when I’ll be allowed back!!” he wrote.
“Henri took it pretty well,” he added.
The remainder of the road trip saw him ticking off essential moments – stopping for a Maccas breakfast, picking the perfect playlist, packing on masks at the state border, stopping to watch Ariarne Titmus win the women’s 400m freestyle at the Olympics, and finally arriving to sights of the Harbour Bridge.
He posted a picture of the landmark at sunset, writing “Nice to be here, even under strange circumstances!”
“Can’t wait for you guys to see the new show. It’s called ‘The Hundred’.”
Andy has teamed up with Channel Nine for The Hundred, which is reported to be like a "reverse GoggleBox".
Each episode, Andy will be joined by a panel of 100 randomly selected Australians who represent the country, who will be polled live and give the audience the stories behind the stats, whether they concern anything from coffee preference through to plastic surgery.
Comedians and celebrities will then battle it out to prove who really knows Australia best.
Casting for the show is now open, with filming to begin soon.

And as for Rebecca, it might be some time before she and Andy can reunite, with COVID-19 restrictions keeping state borders slammed shut for the time being.
The pair have been together for six years and first met in a café, where Bec was waitressing and Andy kept ordering food in order to talk to her.
They welcomed little Henri, an Airedale Terrier puppy, into their family earlier this year.
Here’s hoping that border closures won’t keep this little family apart for too long.
