Kerri-Anne Kennerley steps out the AACTA Awards
TV presenter Kerri-Anne Kennerley looked radiant on the red carpet at the 6h Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards on Dec. 7 wearing a cobalt sleeveless gown with lace panels.
"It's a good chance to frock up," Kennerley, 63, tells WHO about attending the AACTAs, "and it's a nice change to catch up with all the actors we admire so much on television and the big screen."
Pointing all around her, Kennerley adds, "I think it's terrific we recognise the talent and make this industry bigger and better than ever, not only because it's worth dollars to our industry, but because it's a great cultural export and influence."
As for what's next, Kennerley is preparing for the holidays. "I'm just trying to organise Christmas at my house this year," she concedes. "I'm really looking forward to it."
Adding to the good cheer is the fact that her husband John, who spent eight months in hospital after being paralysed in a fall off a balcony, will celebrate the season with family.
"It's good," Kennerley says. "He's home, so all is well."
