During Steve Price’s ‘Jungle Radio’ segment, the broadcaster invited the 90’s pin up model to share a personal story about her life. But Malkah's co-stars were left speechless when she confessed a dodgy relationship had left her broke and nearly homeless.
“I just thought, I think he’s’ f**ked me over,” she said of her former lover.
After converting to Judaism and changing her name, Malkah claims that the American man, who turned out to be leading a double life, defrauded her of all her savings.
“I was stupid and in love and why would a rabbi lie to me?” she said.
“I got swept away a little bit with him. He was incredibly charismatic, very convincing. He said he could invest (the money) better than me and I believed him.”
“I thought I was going to have to sleep under a bush. I went to the Salvation Army and I just said, ‘Help me, I’m going to be homeless,’” she continued.
“They got me in touch with women’s housing and I moved into one of their housed and I found a job down the road, and started working.”
“I just sort of focused and went for it, saved some money and got a lease on an apartment. You know, I’m kind of happy with the place that I’m at now,” Malkah added.
The $2million lost is believed to be part of a settlement deal the former model struck with her ex-fiance and Aussie billionaire James Packer.
Following their split in 1998, the 43-year-old – who was previously known as Kate Fischer – relocated to Los Angeles, which is where she embraced the Jewish faith and met the rabbi at a singles group.
