The pair have been travelling to common (and some off-beat) honeymoon locations to help couples searching for their ideal location.
While their schedule is mostly dictated by Jimmy’s roster (he still works as a pilot), they’re still managing to get away each month, exploring the likes of France, Switzerland, Bali, Fiji, and some local spots across Australia.
Their increased amount of time together hasn’t spelled any red flags though, with Jimmy confirming they’re still on the path to getting engaged.
“We know this is it for both of us, so … there’s an engagement on the horizon,” Jimmy admits.
“We’re trying to work through things at a normal rate … you want to do it once and do it right.
“I’m 33 this year, so the greys are starting to come through, so we’ll see,” he laughs.
And with all the honeymoon-inspired travelling they’ve been doing, they’ve named Vomo Island in Fiji as their favourite location so far, and as the place they’d like to return for their real honeymoon once the time comes.
While their Instagram snaps look pretty and shiny and fun, the pair tell us that it’s not all as it seems, and that working together has come with new challenges.
“A big thing for us is both managing working together and also managing our very different views on finances,” Holly says.
“Jimmy’s always been very on top of his spending and all of that … but I’ve always been very free and easygoing with my money, and I don’t really know where it’s going. So, that’s probably something that we bicker about.”
The pair now use the Your Money Report with ANZ, who they've partnered with, to keep an eye on their spending and dispel any tension.
“When I show her spending on an easy chart, she actually sees it,” Jimmy says of Holly’s habits.
“This has been pretty helpful … it’s like, here you go, you are spending a lot, look at it.”
“I think it’s been a way for us to manage those first little quarrels that we’ve had in a partnership,” Holly explains.
Jimmy and Holly are now the fifth couple to go on and have a successful relationship after the show, and with the 10th season beginning soon, we had to ask what tips they had for the incoming cast.
“It’s just really important to be yourself,” Jimmy says.
“You bring yourself undone if you’re trying to be someone else through that whole process… you’ve just got to fall back on being yourself, that’s why you were cast.”
And as for Holly, she recommends the contestants go in with strong mental fortitude.
“I’ve seen a lot of girls from my season crumble, and their health has deteriorated post the show,” she reflects.
“You’ve just got to make sure you’re mentally really well, you’re confident, and you’re able to stand up for yourself.”
“There were definitely couple of girls in our season that were just beautiful girls, really nice-natured girls, but they should never have gone on the show, because they weren't ready,” Jimmy adds.
The new season of The Bachelor will begin filming soon, this year on the Gold Coast instead of Sydney.
