"As a group we've had a couple of messages,” Underhill said in a TV interview. "Prince Harry sent us a nice message of support, which was nice to receive. Showed his little lad in an England shirt, so that was a nice touch."
In a sweet Instagram message posted after England lost, Harry wrote, "Hold your heads high boys, you did an outstanding job and we couldn't have asked more from you."
Last week it was reported that Harry and Meghan are set to abandon the UK following months of intrusion from the British press.
“It’s not possible for them to be [in the U.K.] like this,” a source tells PEOPLE. “There’s more pressure now. There’s a shift that is happening.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to be taking six weeks off royal duties for some “much-needed family time” from mid-November through the end of the year, says an insider.
And it’s looking increasingly likely that the couple – along with Archie – will be spending some time in Meghan’s hometown of Los Angeles with her mother, Doria Ragland.
“This would be Harry’s first Thanksgiving in the States,” adds the source. “It will be nice for them to be around people that love them and have him understand her traditions too.”
