The pair had argued that morning because Bethany hadn’t woken up her brother to go to work, which was nothing unusual as, like all siblings, they would often fight about “silly little things.”
The inquest heard that Bethany often wrote messages and drew pictures on herself.
Assistant Coroner Peter Merchant said, “there is simply no explanation given to why Bethany would do what she did that day.” He said that Bethany and Ben appeared to be normal siblings.
