“Once I get my weekly schedule from work, the first thing I do is map out when I’ll exercise. I will write this into my diary and basically set a date with myself. My workouts are time for myself, so they’re very important to me and always have been.”
And there’s no such thing as too early for Nicodemou! The dedicated star, who’s mum to 8-year-old son Johnas with ex-husband Chrys Xipolitas, will often set the alarm for 4.30am to squeeze a half-hour workout in before heading to set.
“I try to exercise about three to four times a week,” says the Aussie actress, who likes to “mix it up” with a combo of “weight training, cardio, boxing, Pilates and walks” and also works with a personal trainer twice a week.

When it comes to fuelling all those sweat sessions, Nicodemou’s a fan of the low-carb, high-protein keto diet, so packs her plate full of leafy greens and lean meats.
But while the soap star says the key to her flawless figure is consistency with both exercise and her diet – she doesn’t rule out a cheat day meal or a few rows of chocolate washed down with a cocktail every now and then.
“I never deprive myself of anything,” Nicodemou reveals. “If I want something, I eat it.”
