“You got 100 people standing up and let me tell you Royston, this lot are really tough and you did it, you nailed it.”
Royston said it was an emotional night and that his late mum, who only passed away in February, was watching over him.
“My mum was one of my biggest fans,” he said. “It’s really sad she’s not here with me. I know she’s here with me in spirit and watching over me performing.”
Royston goes straight through to the Grand Final alongside last week’s winner, Brisbane’s Lai Utovou. Five more heats remain before our finalists battle it out for $100,000 prize money.
