"Have we ever thought for a second that maybe the Bachelorettes don't work out as often because most women going on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are probably a little more likely to be looking for love than going on Bachelor In Paradise and getting Instagram followers and going on tours to bang heaps of girls than the dudes are for The Bachelorette?" she said.
Yvie said it simply could be down to casting, and that the producers are better at picking women for The Bachelor than they are at picking men for The Bachelorette.
"I think it goes to show that there's probably a lot more amazing women out there going on these shows than there are men, like that is just proven time and time again," Angie responded.
Yvie added: "Yeah, I'd like to see the casting numbers of women to men. I would really like to see how many women are applying and how many men are applying because I reckon there would be a huge discrepancy."
The Bachelorette's most recent breakup was that of Brooke Blurton and Darvid Garayeli, who shocked fans when splitting just weeks after the finale aired.
And it seems the show's low ratings in recent years reflect the lack of success of the couples.
Brooke's finale pulled in the smallest audience on record, with just 439,000 metro viewers for the final 15 minutes, and just 361,000 tuning in for the lead-up.
The premiere night pulled in the lowest audience in history, attracting just 397,000 viewers (5-city metro), while Nine's The Block raked in 851,000 viewers.
