With claims of lost luggage reportedly jumping 30% since 2019, when international travel was last prominent, a solution to help travellers keep track of their bags after they watched them disappear down the ominous baggage drop travellator, is going viral.
Tiktok users have been taking to the social platform to share their experiences travelling a tracking their bags using Apple Airtags.
Apple Airtags were originally designed to act as a key finder, but savvy travellers have been slipping the small round devices into luggage to track them via their phones.
While we recommend investing in a great travel tote to carry-on and keep your essentials in, plus a change of clothes, picking up an Airtag or similar for those using Androids, could prove a worthy investment.
