“They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing. They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one of Jen’s favourite vineyards in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them.”
As Janice would say. Oh. My God. Queue Twitter freaking out. But guys, everyone take a beat, because the stars have just denied it.
We truly hate to be the bearer of bad news, but representatives for both Jennifer and David have told the HuffPostUK that the rumours of a romance between the actors are simply not true. Sigh.
The chemistry on-screen between Ross and Rachel was undeniable, so it's no surprise fans were curious as to whether or not romantic feelings spilled over off-screen. David and Jen always denied it. That is until the highly-anticipated Friends reunion earlier this year, hosted by James Corden, when the actors confessed they had feelings for each other during filming.
“The first season I had a major crush on Jen,” David said during the reunion. “At some point we were both crushing hard on each other, but it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship.
“And we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.”
While they're not dating off-screen, Jen and David are clearly big Ross and Rachel shippers, as they've been spending their time rocking some Friends merch on their respective Instagrams.
While Jen opted for a "We were so not on a break!" cap, David donned a Ross and Rachel t-shirt accompanied by the word "Lobsters".
Awww, well even if they're not each other's 'Lobsters' IRL, at least we still have 10 seasons of Ross and Rachel moments to binge.
