The "7 rings" singer revealed how she dealt (and still dealing) with his loss.

While she has been open about dealing with her trauma in the past, this is the first time the pop star has gone into detail over her grief following Mac Miller's death.

She revealed that she threw herself into her music. This was the exact time Ari dropped her fifth studio album 'thank u, next' which came just six months after the release of 'Sweetener.'

If I’m completely honest, I don’t remember those months of my life because I was (a) so drunk and (b) so sad, I don’t really remember how it started or how it finished, or how all of a sudden there were 10 songs on the board" she revealed.

The 26-year-old went on to address that tweet where she hit back at a troll on social media who had the audacity to blame her for the rapper's death.

She told Vogue that it "came from a place of complete defeat."

"You have no idea how many times I warned him that would happen and fought that fight, for how many years of our friendship, of our relationship, you have no idea so you’re not allowed to pull that card, because you don’t f*cking know" shared the pop star.

Ariana even revealed that her relationship with Mac (formerly known as Malcolm McCormick) whom she collaborated on hit song "The Way" was far from perfect.

"He was the best person ever, and he didn't deserve the demons he had. I was the glue for such a long time, and I found myself becoming... less and less sticky. The pieces just started to float away" she said.

Coachella was another big moment for Ari as it brought back such strong memories of the late rapper.

"I was always a person who never went to festivals and never went out and had fun like that. But the first time I went was to see Malcolm perform, and it was such an incredible experience. I went the second year as well, and I associate... heavily... it was just kind of a mindf*ck, processing how much has happened in such a brief period" said the singer.
