Khloé Kardashian has heard a message from her late father, Robert Kardashian — and it came through his childhood stuffed animal.
In a sneak peek at this week’s Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry, medium Tyler Henry places his hands on the object Kardashian brought for the reading: a stuffed animal which she has owned since her father’s passing.
“When Tyler was reading my mom, he kept [seeing a monkey],” she explains of her decision to choose that particular object. “I was in the other room and I was like: ‘Oh my God, I have the monkey!’ — my mum didn’t even remember the monkey’s name.”
“There’s a feeling that comes across and it is in reference to your dad’s passing,” Henry then tells Kardashian, 32. “There’s a feeling of not having full closure of actually being there in the moment of passing.”
“There’s a feeling of: ‘I don’t want you to be here when I’m actually passing away,’ ” he continues. “It’s like: ‘For your sake, I want you to just not have that in your memory.’ ”
Kardashian, whose father was 59 when he died of esophageal cancer, then reveals that at the time of his passing, she and her family had just said their goodbyes and parted ways.
Henry, in turn, says that he feels that Kardashian’s father “would have timed his passing.”
“The feeling is that he was holding on, and he was waiting,” he says. “That would have been done with purpose and with intention.”

With a soft smile, Kardashian opens up about just how sentimental the stuffed animal is, revealing that the monkey was actually in her father’s bed when he passed away.
“It’s something that I’ve had since he passed away and I’ve kept at every house that I’ve had,” she says. “So it’s a beautiful thing to have Tyler be able to channel that for me.”
