Joined by Grammy-nominated singer Nicole Scherzinger, My Kitchen Rules judge Manu Feildel and theatre star Lucy Durack, Jacobson— who scooped up an AFI Award for best lead actor as the "Dunny Man" in Kenny— is set to bring his expertise, energy and fun to what is undisputedly the world’s biggest entertainment show.
One of the busiest men in the industry, Jacobson's credits include the animated Santa’s Apprentice, Hollywood blockbuster The Bourne Legacy, The Dressmaker and, most recently, Ladies in Black.
The 49-year-old has also hosted the Australian Film Institute Awards, Top Gear Australia, The Great Australian Bake Off, The Logies and Little Big Shots.
In 2017, Jacobson married lawyer Felicity Hunter. Sharing a snap of the couple's wedding bands, he captioned the Instagram post: "OK..........so this happened on the weekend!!!!"
Naturally, the way he proposed to his longtime girlfriend was absolutely hilarious!
"I proposed in a restaurant but it was so weird," he told New Idea. "So Tim and Anna from The Bachelor were at the same restaurant. Fliss was so excited and all I was thinking about was proposing. They rained on my parade! I knew she was going to say yes, but there was a lot of pressure on it."
