The new job is believed to have been taken in between her other entertainment commitments, and while she works on a new album.
"I write music about my own experience and other people's so being on the road meeting all these people is really inspiring," Donovan said of her experience so far with the ride-sharing company.
Donovan rose to fame after winning Australian Idol in 2004 when she was only a 16-year-old, beating out fellow contestant Anthony Callea.
