In a move that's considered the Anti-Honey Badger, Locky revealed that he'd fallen for both finalists and even his mum joked if he could pick Irena and Bella.
"I thought I'd come in here, meet one person that I'd like and then end up together, but I've found two," he said during the finale episode.
"And they are two of the most incredible women that I've ever met in my entire life."
A tense Locky mused the difficulty of his decision earlier in the episode stating: "It shouldn't be this way but it is, I'm in love with both of them. You don't break up with someone that you love."
It comes as no surprise that Irena was crowned the winner as from an early stage, she was a frontrunner.
The Melbourne-based nurse was the bookies' favourite to win and on Thursday night ahead of the finale was given odds of 1.30 by both Sportsbet and TAB whilst Bella was given odds of 2.95 by Sportsbet and 3.50 by TAB.
What's more, last season's winner Chelsie McLeod guessed that Irena would be the lucky lady standing at the end from the moment she entered the mansion in the premiere episode just by the change in music.
"Ooh, winner's music!" she pointed out in an Instagram video before captioning: "Top four surely... that music. She's cute.”
Locky and Irena's relationship got off to a heart-racing start on the red carpet during the premiere episode when the nurse checked his heartbeat.
"I think I heard your heart skip a beat right there," she said at the first cocktail party when she checked his heart for a second time with her stethoscope.
"Whenever I'm with Irena, I feel amazing," he said during the finale.
"With Irena, I just see the future and I see family, I see kids and I see perfection, and everything seems so goddamn perfect. There's not a version of my future I can see where Irena doesn't fit in. I feel like I'm gonna be fine no matter what if I've got Irena by my side."
Congratulations to Locky and Irena!
