As much as fans are hoping, praying, the kind-hearted reality star would finally find Jackson to be The One, they have now confirmed things didn't work out.
After leaving paradise together last night with the promise to pursue a relationship outside the show, Brittney took to Instagram to share an update with fans.
"I'm here for my final update: @jacksongarlick and I aren't together, but he is an amazing guy," she wrote.
'We did catch up on the outside, I did meet his friends & family, and we had good times. Unfortunately, life gets in the way, and we are now just friends."
Meanwhile, Jackson shared a similar sentiment on his Instagram revealing despite trying - with more effort coming from Brittney than himself - he wishes her the best.
"I'm mostly to blame for the lack of effort to keep our good thing going because I came straight back into preseason training and couldn't travel to see her," he wrote.
"She deserves the world, and I wish her so much happiness."
But Jackson may have found love in Paradise after all, according to Woman’s Day the 26-year-old left Fiji with a producer.
"She [the producer] had her eyes on a lot of the boys but she ended up hooking up with Jackson," an insider told the publication, adding that the two hit it off so much they continued their romance after filming finished.
"They were seeing each other quite a bit after the show – they definitely gave it a red-hot go."
Bachelor In Paradise evictee Helen Sauzier hinted that she’d hoped to see Jackson in Fiji, and that he felt the same. The timing, however, wasn’t meant to be.
"I actually did ask to see Jackson and he asked the same for me, but we just missed each other," she told Mamamia before suggesting that he had found love with someone in paradise.
"I think he'll probably find someone in there," she said with emphasis on "someone”.
"We'll have to wait and see."
