With Sogand Mohtat gone from the Bachelor mansion, it looked as if Abbie Chatfield might finally get the chance to fight for Matt Agnew's affections relatively unhindered. After all, she'd been the latest to lead the charge against the blonde bombshell, after Monique Morley was sent packing earlier in the series.

Brittany and Cass reunite with Nick Cummins after he brutally dumped them
0:14
The controversial contestant has ruffled feathers (to put it mildly...) in the Bachelor mansion since day dot, and her feuds with various other ladies vying for Matt have given us major reason to tune in every week.
(Along with, um, the whole Matt-finding-the-love-of-his-life thing, which is obviously very important too.)
But with the role of chief-confronter-of-Abbie wide open at tonight's cocktail party, Elly Miles stepped up to the plate, with Emma Roche hot on her heels.
Elly's not happy...
Seeing her chance to tell Matt about Abbie's behaviour when he's not around, Elly took it.
"I don't knowhow Matt's going to take this, but I'm hoping he sees thatI just...I want what's best for himand I just want himto make the right decision," she explained in a piece to camera before stealing Matt away. "He needs to finally see Abbie for who she really is."
"What I really, like, need you to knowis that I really like youand I'm here 110% for you and, like, you're a priority for me.
"I don't like talking ill about people but I just don't think Abbie is taking this thing very seriously... I don't know if she has the most pure intentions."
So, could it have finally started to dawn on Matt that Abbie might not be exactly who he thinks she is?
"It's interesting to hear that Ellythinks that Abbie's gotthe wrong motivations for being herebecause Elly's not the firstto suggest that," he pondered in a piece to camera, still not entirely convinced.
"I do appreciate you telling me... I imagine it is,it can be uncomfortable because these peopleyou're living with, I get that."
But things got even more uncomfortable when Elly and Abbie then had it out ahead of the rose ceremony.
Basically, Elly was pissed because she'd said she wanted first chat with Matt that night, but Abbie had swooped in the second he entered the room and grabbed him away, totally breaking the girl code in Elly's mind.
Emma's, too, for what it's worth.
"I'm not sure why Abbie felt the needto railroad Elly againin tonight's cocktail partybut she doesn't really seem that bothered by it all," Emma mentioned in a piece to camera.
An astute observation, apparently.
"To be honest, I don't feel that badabout me grabbing Matt before Elly," shrugged Abbie. "Just because Elly wanted to havetime with Matt firstdoesn't mean that I should be givingthat time to her.I'm here literally only for Matt.I'm not here for Elly."
"Why would I send Matt over to speakto youwhen we are in direct competitionto fall in love with this manbecause of this stupid, arbitrary line that we all made upin an effort to be diplomatic? It is absolutely ridiculous."
"Honestly right now I couldn'tcare less if the girls in the houselove me or hate me -all I care about is Matt. And the only reason why Elly isso upset is becauseshe feels threatened by me andbecause she hasn't gotten her way."
