Hailing from Ballarat, Taite is no stranger to reality TV shows, having previously appeared on Channel 7 show First Dates where he was successfully set up with Dee Nguyen, who went to star on Geordie Shore.
Known as ‘Dr Phil’ among his group of friends, Taite says he is looking for a future partner who is career driven, close with her family and can make him laugh.
In one of the show's promo we see a shirtless Taite asking Ali if she "likes what she sees".
Ali responds, "I love what I see."
