Leaving Jane with no chance to get a word in edgeways, Jamie let loose:
"It's such a big thing for me to meet a girl's parents. I guess I just wanted to let you know I'm here for Angie and I've made that clear since day one. Angie is everything to me. She's amazing.
"Like, she's very kind and I can tell she's very loyal. She's incredible, 'cause I'm big on energies, and I do tell her, every time I have a chat with her, I say it, she does light up the room."
Jane looked... bewildered. Which is how we felt when we first met Jamie, too.
"And have you been on a date or anything as yet?" she (very reasonably) asked him.
Awkward...
"No, no. But I got the first rose, so..."
Jamie had been harping on about getting the first rose in the last rose ceremony since it happened – and it appears this move has him convinced that he is Angie's chosen one.
But after both her mum and dad warned her about the firefighter, he might be in for a rude surprise...
"It does concern me that Mum and Dad both brought Jamie's name up, and to be told that I should steer clear of him? It's probably something that I should not take lightly," said Angie. "Interesting..."
Her mum and dad aren't the first members of the stunner's family to join her on the show, lending a helping hand as she looks for love.
Her brother Brad went in on the very first night to sort out the duds from the studs, posing as another hopeful vying for her heart.
Angie told 10 Daily she was "so stoked" Brad was able to get involved with the process.
"He was, technically – what the boys thought – there to win my love," she said before adding, "Sounds so creepy when I say it out loud that my brother was there to date me."
While the former Gogglebox Australia star was getting to know her suitors, Brad was getting an insider's look at the guys and what they were saying behind her back.
His true identity was later revealed by host Osher Gunsburg.
"No one knew," Angie said, "no one knew until Osher stood there and was like, 'There's someone here that's not supposed to be here.' Everybody just shat themselves."
