The star will be the series first Australian celebrity to take the lead role.
Channel Ten are changing things up for celebrity Bachelorette Sophie Monk.
The network reportedly made the announcement earlier than usual to contain rumours surrounding the singer's involvement in the show, Sydney Confidential report.
They now are also reportedly able to control the 37-year-old's public appearances and photoshoots.
SydCon have also reported that runner-up from Richie Strahan's season Nikki Gogan was in talks to be the next Bachelorette, but as soon as Monk put her hand up for the role, they jumped on the opportunity.
