The more we find out about Ciarran Stott on his Bachelorette journey, the more we absolutely love him – and it looks like Angie Kent feels the same!
WATCH: He's baring all in every sense of the word!
After winning two rounds of extra one-on-one time with Ange, Ciarran was chomping at the bit to get a single date with his gal – and finally his wish came true!
Taking the loveable jokester for a much-anticipated date, Angie organised something to challenge the former stripper's love of maintaining a perfectly polished exterior: a jet boat ride on Sydney Harbour.
"I thought, 'You know what?I'm gonna get him on a speedboatand I'm gonna get hima little bit wet and wild."I want to see how he acts withgetting his hair a little bit messy," Angie quipped to camera before the pair got into some waterproof ponchos and climbed aboard.
And, yeah... they got wet. Poor Ciarran.
"I feel like my heart is justgonna burst out my chest. It's just thumping... I definitely prefer chilled out, sipping on a soy latte, having a good time.
"I can't believeI'm messing my hair!"
It's the kind of semi-vain tongue-in-cheek comment we've heard a lot of from Ciarran since we met him a few weeks ago as he sashayed oh-so stylishly into Angie's life. But when he opened up after their wild ride around the harbour, it became clear that there's so much more to this larrikin.
"You're pretty eccentric..." she broached, hoping to find out if there was anything behind the jokes and the hair. "Why do you thinkthat you're like that for?
"I don't know, just the way I was brought up," he replied.
"[I had a] bit of a wonky childhood until I came to Australia. Like, we had no money,it was nothing. It was community housingsort of stuff," he explained.
"It was pretty rough. You know, there'd be, like, the wrong kind of guyswould always be aroundin my mum's life. The way things went,I went to about eight or nine differentprimary schools."
He was stuck in a cycle of moving house constantly, changing schools and being forced to make friends quickly, before having to leave them again, he revealed.
"My mum moved aboutthat much... New school, make friends, couple months later, new school, make friends. So, it was pretty awful. Pretty crap. It's hard totalk about ina situation like this."
While our hearts were breaking (Angie's, too), the 25-year-old continued his story.
"That's why I'm confident;that's why, if I say I'm going todo something, I'm gonna do it.
But then people say, 'Oh, he just likes to showoff with all these fancy things.'I'm like, no, I never had anythingwhen I was younger,so if I can get it now, then why not?It shouldn't really matterwhat anyone else thinks."
Time to be a little more like Ciarran? We think yes.
He also shared in a piece to camera how hard it was to open up about his painful childhood.
"Making myself vulnerableand open up to Angie, you know,it's a big thing for me to do that,'cause I'm not oneto talk about my feelings. But if I'm gonna be herefor Angie, I want to be, like, the best versionof myself I can be."
And it paid off – he scored himself a kiss, a rose... and had Angie catching feelings she hadn't felt before.
"He's not what he looks likeand how he acts," she gushed.
"I think he's got a lot of hurt, and the fact that he can open upto me means a lot, because it means that he knowsI care and that he mustcare enough to tell me.
"Ciarran's just, like, blown me away. He's just quite beautiful.I didn't think that I wouldlike him as much as I do. I really like him."
While we've seen plenty of his party-boy behaviour – both on the show and in the news headlines – this isn't the first time Ciarran's revealed himself to be a big softy at heart.
After smashing his stand-up comedy routine earlier in the week – the latest gruelling group dateformerGogglebox Australiastar Angieput her hopefuls through – Ciarran scored his second round of alone time with the blonde bombshell.
And there was one thing on his mind!
"I'm absolutely buzzing that I've gotthis one-on-one time with Angieagain, you know?" he said in a piece to camera.
"It's a good time to try and, like, connect with each other,to show a bit more ofa romantic side, and hopefully it all goes well."
