NEW TREATMENT ALERT
WHAT: A traditional HydraFacial is a three-step treatment that simultaneously exfoliates, clears blocked pores, and infuses medical-grade serums for targeted skin results. The new Deluxe treatment is a five-step routine and takes 45 minutes with add-on options of a skin booster (think brightening, hydrating, smoothing or anti-ageing), and a “perk” of your choice. A perk can be your lips, to plump and exfoliate, or your eyes, to hydrate and brighten.
VERDICT: I’m a long-time fan of a HydraFacial, but now this Deluxe version is everything my skin needs – from clearing and clarifying to exfoliating and brightening. You can see from the cloudy liquid at the end of my treatment just how much dirt, dead skin and grime has been sucked out of my pores, it’s so satisfying. My results literally last for weeks and the downtime is nothing so it’s now my go-to treatment before any event or holiday.
COST: $319 per treatment
I love the look of sun-kissed skin, but I don’t want to bake my delicate skin in the sun to achieve it, so I use these drops. I apply every third night to fresh cleansed and exfoliated (the night prior) skin, let it sink it and follow with my usual regime. I wake up “tanned” and plump. It’s made with hyaluronic acid, jojoba, vitamin E, C, rosehip oil as well as 100 per cent natural DHA for the glow to develop.
SUPER BOOST YOUR SKIN
I’ve been a long-time fan of Paula’s Choice vitamin C range. This potent C5 Super Boost Moisturiser completes my regime perfectly. The gel-cream is very light on the skin, containing a potent blend of 5 per cent vitamin C, Hexapeptide-5, a targeted biometric peptide that firms and a barrier repair lipid blend reinforcing the skin’s barrier.
TAKE A CHILL PILL
Stress and anxiety can play havoc on our skin (among other things), so minimising it is paramount. These new multi-vitamins from The Gut Co contain nootropics (cognitive enhancers) and adaptogens (stress and fatigue fighters) to boost energy, stress response, mental focus, metabolism, thyroid function, skin health and enhanced growth, strength and thickness of hair and nails.
Silk bed sheets are here to look after the whole body, not just our faces. I’m currently trying out the signature vegan silk sheets from Touché at home and they are divine. Spun from Tencel Lyocell fibres, sustainably harvested from eucalyptus trees, the whole process is zero waste with a closed-loop manufacturing process, which I love. Not only are they anti-bacterial for those prone to breakouts, they’re gentle on my hair and so cooling on my body which is great for the hot summer months.
COST: from $35
This in-salon and take-home treatment is a winner. Joining the Invisible Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner combo, Australia’s leading celebrity hair stylist and colourist, Jaye Edwards of Edwards and Co salons, has bottled his secret weapon for perfectly textured hair, making it easier than ever to recreate his iconic beachy waves at home. This cream mask is great for finer locks that get weighed down easily (i.e mine!), and ones that need some extra TLC.
Not only are the Sundae foaming body washes the most fun you can have in the shower, they smell divine, leave your skin hydrated and now there’s an exfoliating version, too. I’ve been using this one about three times a week and my skin feels so smooth. The AHAs and green tea extract gently exfoliate without vigorous rubbing.

TIME TO SHINE
Take your teeth whitening to the next level with this toothbrush. While you’re brushing it emits safe blue LED (light-emitting diode) light wavelengths, which accelerate the removal of stains, yellowing, and discolouration from your teeth.
