Each year fans can often gauge a potential winner on almost every reality show from the odds listed on betting sites like Sportsbet or TAB.
These sites have accurately predicted the winner of multiple shows like The Bachelor, The Masked Singer, and Survivor, and we’re certain Big Brother will be no different – so proceed with caution if you’re hoping to avoid spoilers!
Sportsbet had returning housemate and fan-favourite Reggie Sorensen (formerly Reggie Bird) in the top spot to win for weeks, but she's finally been overtaken by new housemate Jaycee Edwards.
Jaycee has odds of 1.70, putting him just ahead of Reggie, who is in second place on the ladder with odds at 2.10.
Given how many fans were convinced one of the Big Brother Royalty housemates was guaranteed to win, it's quite the shocking shift.
While Reggie's likeability makes her a massive social threat, Jaycee is a great physical player, which is an advantage in the new Big Brother format which is more akin to Survivor than it was on Reggie's original run in 2014.
Following Jaycee and Reggie on the ladder is die-hard Big Brother fan Johnson Ashak, who plans to make a major mark on the game and sits at odds of 6.00. Meanwhile fellow newbie Taras Hrubyj-Piper has odds of 7.50, as does Big Brother royalty housemate Tim Dormer.
But some fans are still convinced Reggie will make it out on top and win the show again - which wouldn't be new, as she won Big Brother in 2004. Since then, she has seen many changes and challenges throughout her life.
While she’s re-married and had two children in the years since winning, she’s also had her fair share of health struggles, and is almost completely blind after being diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa a few years after she appeared on the show.
Her son, Lucas, who is 12, also suffers from cystic fibrosis, and needs constant care from Reggie.
“It’s a constant battle to try and get weight on him, so he has to drink supplements and have a diet high in calories and fat. I hope he will live past 37 years of expected time,” she told our sister site, Now to Love, of his struggles.
While we’ve been enjoying seeing the new housemates make their mark on the game, we’re also certain most fans of the show would love to see Reggie win again! We’ll just have to wait and see.
