Upon entering the house, Drew caught Sam's eye immediately, and she confided in Big Brother that she found him 'distracting'. When Drew was saved from eviction, he made his feelings known, kissing Sam for the first time.
And now, they seem to have only become more enamoured ever since.
But Tully claimed clever editing has made her appear upset by Drew and Sam's budding romance. She said it was frustrating see the "absolute Frankenstein monster they create based off absolutely nothing."
"All I could say to people watching is surely we're smarter than this by now. Surely we understand how reality TV works.
"For people that are coming at me saying: "Why are you crying? It was nine years ago, don't you have a boyfriend?" I'm like: "Yes, yes I do have a boyfriend and clearly I've moved on, I'm living with my boyfriend."
Tully said viewers were so invested in her relationship with Drew on Big Brother back in 2013 that they haven't realised they've both since moved on.
"They kind of just miraculously forget the nine-year gap and go: "What! Tully and Drew are meant to be together forever. Why aren't they in love?"" she said.
"I'm now 35. A lot has changed."
Tully said her boyfriend Daniel Parisi is an "actual angel" for how well he's handled the situation.
"I could not have found a better, more thoughtful, understanding, amazing guy. It helps that he doesn't read into any of the bulls***. He doesn't look at the Daily Mail," she said.
"But I'd be lying if I said it wasn't tough. It's been tough for me, it's been tough for him. But there isn't a love triangle, so [producers] can't possibly make one up."
Tully's revelation comes after Sam told TV WEEK that there was no animosity between herself and Tully in the house. In fact, she said they instantly clicked.
"We had an interesting connection. I really liked her," Sam said.
