Carrie Fisher’s daughter, Billie Lourd has opened up about the heartbreaking experience of losing both her mother and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, within a day of each other.
"Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist," Billie wrote on Instagram. The Scream Queens actress shared a very personal and never before seen photograph of herself as a young child, pulling a cheeky face as her loved ones held her close.
Lourd, 24, also revealed the touching nicknames she for the Carrie and Debbie - who died on December 27 and 28, respectively - saying: "There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me."
Star Wars actress Carrie passed away after suffering a massive heart attack, and her Singin’ In The Rain icon mother Reynolds suffered a fatal stroke the following day, reportedly while planning her daughter’s funeral.
Lourde's Scream Queens costar Taylor Lautner, 24, took to social media following the passing of his friend's loved ones to share a special message of support during this difficult time. "This girl is one of the strongest, most fearless individuals I've ever met. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I'm lucky to know you @praisethelourd .. ❤️, me," he captioned a snap alongside Lourd.
