Victoria Police have released new footage which may lead to a huge breakthrough in the Karen Ristevski case.
The security images show a black vehicle which Victoria Police suspect is Karen's Mercedes-Benz SLK coupe.
The car was seen in Diggers Rest at 11.12am June 29 2016, the day she disappeared.
According to the Herald Sun, police believe Karen's husband Borce Ristevski could be driving the car captured in the CCTV images, with Karen's body in the vehicle.
Ristevski has been a known murder suspect in the case after Karen's body was found in Macedon Regional Park on February 20. However, he has continued denied anything to do with her death.
Police are hoping to speak to anyone who lives in Diggers Rest, northwest of Melbourne's CBD, and may have seen the Mercedes.
