Ex NRL star Brett Kimmorley broke down on television talking about the tragic death of his wife, Sharnie.
The football legend’s wife passed away in March after a short battle with brain cancer, leaving Brett to take care of their four daughters.
The sports star was on League Life speaking about NRL's Beanies For Brain Cancer when he choked up speaking about his late wife.
'The cause is very special... my children themselves have done their own things to help mum,'
'The kids did Relay for Life last week... it was something that was very special to them - for mum.
'We started that as a family and we finished as a family. Everything we do at the moment is an ''us'' decision, not so much a ''me'' and ''I'' decision.'
Sharnie battled brain cancer for eight months before she passed away aged 38. Brett is the sole parent to his four daughters, Maddi, Mia, Ava and Ivy.
