"What I got was literally a bunch of dogwood sticks wrapped in BURLAP. (It was made very clear that this was not a country wedding, there was to be no burlap).
"On top of that my niece's flower ball was done with thistles. She was two years old! Hubby's boutineer was all thistles (sale on thistles perhaps?)
"Anyhow, bless my mom and the B&B owner for taking the sticks from me and DIYing them into the best they could do. I still hated it, but my late grandmother's brooch and my hubby's late mother's earrings were on it.
"I ended up ditching the bouquet for the majority of photos as the damn sticks kept poking people in their faces."
She also shared the email which she sent to the florist, which read: "I can't describe how upset and disappointed I am. Of all the things I worried about for my wedding, the flowers were never one of them. I had complete faith in you and you let me down.
"I do thank you for making such beautiful reception flowers - they were lovely. But everything else looked like it was thrown together last minute without any thought or reference to what I actually ordered.
"Simply put, the giant bouquet of sticks wrapped in country burlap & lace (which was supposed to be ribbon) was NOTHING like what it was supposed to be. To have you tell me over the phone that there were no pheasant feathers was moot. If something doesn't come in, replace it with something else. Never mind that fact that even without the pheasant feathers, the bouquet had nothing else in it."
She continued to the florist: "Why would you put thistles on top of a flower ball for a two-year-old? My sister ended up carrying it so that she didn't hurt herself."
But a number of people pointed out that the flowers were exactly what she had in her vision board.
"It looks like what you asked for," one wrote.
Another said: I'm sorry but the picture of your bouquet looks exactly like the first bouquet in your reference."
