Malcolm, who also trained as a ballet dancer for 13 years and was an accomplished oboe player as a teenager, will return home in January to host a party for family and friends on Rottnest Island to celebrate her marriage to muso Nathaniel Hoho last July.
“We’re busy,” laughs Malcolm when asked for an update on her new marriage. “And we acknowledge that. But I always put him first. Communication is everything. I don’t often sleep well when I’m on jobs, so he keeps his phone on no matter the time zone. It’s little things like that that help me feel good.”
