Britney Spears has revealed she’s open to a duet with ex Justin Timberlake.
Speaking to Rylan Clark-Neal This Morning, Britney, 34, confirmed that she’s interested in a musical reunion.
Clark-Neal said to the singer: 'You’ve done a lot of duets in the past and recently Justin Timberlake said that he would want to do a duet with you and you’ve never ruled it out in the past, so is it something we could potentially see?'
Spears responded, “One of my friends asked me if I would do a song with him and I said ‘yes’, so they took it as I really wanted to do it - and that would be fun - but yeah, I think that’s [just] a lot of talk…”
Rylan: “But we could never get maybe a Oops, I’m Bringing Sexy Back?...”
A smiling Spears replied, "You never know!"
This news comes as no surprise as in In August, Britney Spears dropped Timberlake’s name when she participated in a fan Q&A for Most Requested Live with Romeo where she was quizzed about who she’d hope to work with in future.
The 34-year-old confessed she would not mind working with her former boyfriend, "Justin Timberlake is very good."
According to E! News, Timberlake wasn't originally aware of Spears' comments, but when he was asked, the 35-year-old said, "Sure! Absolutely, absolutely."
"I have a 17 month old so I don't get the headline news," Timberlake explained.
"I apologise for not being in the know…I'm accessible, give us a call!"
Timberlake and Spears dated between 1999-2002.
