Height And Weight
She looks to be about a head shorter than 6’2” Nick Cummins in most pictures, which would make her around 5’6” or 5’7”. We don’t know how much she weighs but she definitely has a slim and toned build.
Dating Before The Bachelor
There’s no doubt that Brittany’s quite a looker, which is why the news that she’s been single for more than seven years might surprise people! While the exact details of her dating life haven’t been divulged, here’s what Brittany herself has said about her last relationship:
"Yeah, I was in a relationship with a guy, but he was seeing someone else basically from day one and was just setting up an identical life with her," she explains. After finding out, Brittany was devastated. She and her sister left for their around the world trip shortly after, but Brittany wasn’t done with love quite yet.
Why Did She Join The Bachelor Australia?
During her travels around the world, Brittany’s sisters and friends convinced her to try her luck in finding love by joining The Bachelor 2018. She agreed, on the condition that if she was still single by the time that her trip was over:
"I always told them that if I came back from that trip single and 30, I would apply. And of course, there was no part of me that thought I would actually be single at 30 after my trip. But my mindset was that I have nothing to lose, so why not?"
Brittany On The Bachelor Australia
With her cheerful personality, good looks, and stunning physique, Brittany charmed her way into hearts of thousands of viewers—and apparently the Bachelor himself. While she confesses that she didn’t exactly know who Nick was prior to joining the program, sparks started flying early on: “I had no idea who Nick was. I had been overseas for three years and didn't follow Australian rugby. So I didn't know, had no clue”.
Their chemistry was obvious from the start and only became more apparent once they got alone time together. Both Nick “The Honey Badger” Cummins and Brittany grew up in Port Macquarie, have similar family dynamics, and were even born in the same hospital. Nick joked about chasing a girl called Britt in preschool, and the witty response from Brittany had him in stitches: “Actually, I think you were the boy I was running from”.
Both shared a love of the outdoors and were always up for spontaneous adventures. Brittany and Nick consistently developed a strong relationship throughout the show. One of their most romantic moments was a golfing date that ended with a dip together at the pool where they shared their first kiss with each other.
She had a good run on The Bachelor and outlasted the 27 other participants to make it as one of the two finalists alongside Sophie Tieman. While Australia definitely loved her, she ended up losing after Nick rejected both her and Sophie in the shocking season finale.
Future Career And Dating Prospects
Brittany was obviously a little upset by how her romance ended on the show, but she isn’t giving up on love, or her future career prospects. In her Instagram post talking about the ending, she says: “I wore my heart on my sleeve and I’m proud of myself for putting myself out there. Whilst this is not my happy ending, I made the most beautiful friends, and I am so grateful to have had Soph there with me at the end. She is truly my rock.”
It’s clear that Brittany isn’t done looking for ‘the one’ just yet. She’s apparently open to "All colours, races, religions, languages, nationalities, occupations you name it”.
While rumours have flared up over her dating life, she hasn’t confirmed that she’s officially seeing anyone, making her very single and ready to mingle.
As far as her career is concerned, Brittany is quite happy and excited in the direction it’s taken since her appearance on The Bachelor Australia. “'I haven't really had a day off since I've left the mansion. I love my job and I'm working so hard… I work in a hospital and I love it. I did have a few holidays, I did a few hikes but that's about it... really just trying to get back on track.”
She’s definitely confirmed that she wants to venture into TV and radio moving forward, much like fellow contestant Cass Wood. While she’s no stranger to the limelight, being on The Bachelor seems to have awakened her love for being in front of the camera:
“'I had so much fun filming and I've realised I love to entertain people and make them laugh. Hopefully, there's some of that somewhere, whether that's TV or radio or writing - who knows?”
And if any case her acting career doesn’t pan out, she’s more than open to appearing as The Bachelorette. “Bachelorette is something I would definitely consider”, she said in an October interview. “'If everything was aligned and I was in the right head-space. I'll have to take that as it comes”.
It seems like nothing can get her down! So what’s next for this feisty gal?
