Calvin Harris has posted his first selfie since being involved in a serious motor vehicle collision on May 20. Calvin, whose birth name is Adam Wiles, showed his apprehension of getting back in a car with the explicit Snapchat caption, “F*ck This.” Another was titled “Camden”.
Half of Calvin’s face is obscured in the photo leading fans to speculate that this may be due to injuries he sustained.
The music producer geo-tagged the sombre Snapchats as taken in London, an 11-hour flight from his home in California, near where the crash occurred.
The Scottish DJ, 32, was travelling through Beverly Hills to the airport en route to a series of concerts in Las Vegas when a Volkswagen Beetle, reportedly driven by a teenager, rammed his SUV. The smaller car was seriously impacted at the scene.
Although not driving, Calvin was taken to hospital for examination; he has since twice cancelled performances in Las Vegas nightclubs Omina and Hakkasan.
Sending his apologies to fans for the missed concerts due to his medical hiatus, Calvin tweeted, “Thank you so much for your messages and sorry to any disappointment I caused with the show cancellations.”
While on the mend, the native Scotsman posted a photo on Instagram showing off his toned physique.
The shot is similar to one he posted in 2015. The music producer was a model for Armani.
Calvin’s girlfriend of 15 months, Taylor Swift, is a fitness fanatic herself, often taking classes at Body by Simone with members of her #girlsquad friendship group.
Harris is currently promoting his new single, ‘This Is What You Came For’, a collaboration with Rihanna.
