Cara Delevingne‘s beauty M.O. used to consist of this formula: Bold brows plus super-long blonde strands equals immediate supermodel status. But the star is one step closer to shedding her industry image after unveiling a brand-new (and super-chic!) hairstyle on Thursday: a long bob!
The actress-slash-model showed off a new textured shoulder-length lob on the red carpet before the Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets panel during Comic-Con in San Diego. The star teamed the short new do with a bold red lip, a sultry smoky eye and an outfit by DSquared2, featuring crazy-cool, camo-print pants.
Less than an hour before the big reveal, Delevingne shared a cryptic snapshot her freshly chopped locks (by celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak) coating the floor on Instagram, captioned with a single emoji: “💇🏼”
The Suicide Squad star’s cut comes just a month after her BFF Kendall Jenner opted for a similar short style, which we’ve dubbed her “fashion lob.”
“Honestly, I’ve been wanting to change my hair for a while now,” Jenner confessed on her website/app. “Christy Turlington’s bob was a total inspiration for me, even though mine’s a little longer.”
First Kendall, now Cara. So, who’s next to jump on the fashion lob bandwagon? Our money’s on Gigi.
