Model turned actress Cara Delevingne has been fined by French police for an epic foul-mouthed tirade that prohibited her from boarding the Eurostar in Paris.
Travelling with her agent, on route to her sister Poppy’s 30th birthday in London, Cara was detained by security after objecting to a random security check.
According to reports in The Telegraph, the British socialite made quite a scene, getting down on her knees to feign a prayerful pose and also swearing at security. She was then escorted to a room for further questioning.
The delay caused Delevingne to miss her original train at 3:05pm and had to board another at Paris’ Gare du Nord.
She emerged from the interrogation as if she had been crying, according to The Telegraph.
“They have to learn that the same rules apply to them and we are only doing our jobs when we treat them the same way we treat everyone else”, said a French Security Officer.
The former Burberry model was issued with a fine for verbal abuse and no further action is expected to be taken.
