The docu-series is said to expand further on Farrow’s investigation and reporting, showing never-before-seen footage and offering new insights into the momentous story.
Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes stars Farrow, who is the son of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen, a number of his sources and interviewees, and was directed by the Emmy Award-winning Fenton Bailey and Rady Barbato.
Production company HBO also added that Catch and Kill will focus “not just on the harrowing effort to expose one powerful predator, but on the systems that help cover up the terrible crimes to this day.”
Weinstein was convicted on sexual assault charges in New York in February of last year, and has been sentenced to 25 years in prison in a watershed moment for the ‘Me Too’ movement it spurred.
Weinstein has also been indicted on further charges in California, for which he is yet to stand trial.
Catch and Kill: The Podcast Tapes can be watched in Australia on BINGE, which offers a 14-day free trial.
