After her friends commented on the post, Cathy added: 'I'm not joking but [the man] looks like he's raping me with his eyes.'
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, a remorseful Cathy said: 'I am so embarrassed for my use of such offensive and inappropriate language. It was a lapse in judgement at the time and I apologise for any hurt or offence I have caused.'
At the time of the offensive post, Cathy was 20-years-old and studying performing arts at Unitec Institute of Technology.
At last night’s commitment ceremony, Cathy’s ‘husband’ Josh Pihlak issued her an ultimatum.
Josh told Cathy in front of Married At First Sight's experts, 'I’m worried that we’re gonna be just friends next week… Of course I wanna fall in love and walk away from this in love. But how I feel right now, I have doubt.'
Minutes prior, we saw Cathy and Josh looking happier than ever, after a sexy dinner date.
'It’s funny because I actually walked into this commitment ceremony quite confident and light,' she explained. 'We had a really good week. It just feels a bit weird.'
