Last season's villain Rachael Arahill— who played an integral part in the infamous "dog c**t" scandal— also joined the chat, writing "YTG" (yeah the girls) to which Chelsie replied: "@rachaelarahill triggered is an understatement to be fair."
Her telling yet sly comments come days after she took a swipe at Matt in a brutal Instagram post. Sharing a photo with her co-stars Nichole Wood, Helena Sauzier and Sogand Mohtat from one of the final episodes of their season, Chelsie captioned the cute snap: "Take the good with the bad."
While we can't say for sure, it appears as though the 'good' in this situation is the strong friendships she's made and the 'bad' is the fact her romance with the astrophysicist not only fizzled out but ended badly.
To make matters even worse, Rachael— who clearly has no time for Matt's antics— also shaded Matt on social media, hinting her friend was blindsided by their bitter breakup. After a fan asked Chelsie on Instagram why they decided to call time on their whirlwind romance, Rachael promptly entered the chat, replying to her comment writing: "So does Chelsie."
Rachael also inferred Chelsie had "invested" more into their relationship than Matt had... which makes sense considering he's been travelling abroad in recent months.
Bachelorette star Angie Kent, reaffirmed these factors contributed to the demise of their romance, admitting during a recent episode of Have You Been Paying Attention? that it's tough to make it work after the cameras stop rolling.
"Once you get out of the Bachie bubble, it's up to you then to kind of create a connection and see how it goes," the 29-year-old said. "It's hardcore.
