Married At First Sight’s Cheryl was disgusted when she found out that Andrew had badmouthed her to the boys behind her back.
“Before the boys' outing, we both said let's go into this with a clear head and leave the past behind us,” she said in an interview with TheFIX.
“So when I got told by Sean what had been said, I was in a little bit of shock. It was pretty disgusting. I thought it wasn't going to be as bad as what Sean made it out to be.”
On Sunday night’s episode, the firefighter admitted he was better suited to his original bride, Lauren.
“Lauren, she had a lot going on,” he said to the male contestants.
“Lauren had a chance to come back and I knocked it thinking things couldn't get worse. Lauren is actually heaps more fun to hang out with than Cheryl.”
The Perth local also admitted he struggled to find common ground with the 25-year-old.
“Hair extensions. Hair extension. The Kardashians... It's a funny thing. If I talk, I get shut down pretty quick. It's either like a [gestures]: ‘I dunno’ or it's like a genuine: ‘Yeah’,” he explained.
“But when she talks I try and jump in and make it a conversation. But she talks super quick, she drives like she talks… la la la.”
The Perth local also joked: “You talk about affection being too much? A conversation seems too much for Cheryl.”
Cheryl was left mortified when she found out what he said.
“I don't want to be with someone who goes and talks about me behind their back in a degrading way,” she added.
“I'm all for a little banter here and there, but to constantly bring up your partner in a degrading way? I thought it was disgusting.
“I would never go to a dinner party and be around other people and bag up my partner. That's just embarrassing. Not just for them, but for me also.”
