Chris Dawson's former school girl lover Joanne Curtis has visited a Sydney police station one day after authorities stopped a forensic dig at the former home of Chris and Lyn Dawson, according to the Daily Mail.
The publication reports that Joanne was seen entering Dee Why police station on Sydney's northern beaches on Tuesday, but it is not confirmed why she was there.
"For privacy reasons, we are not in a position to comment on why a member of the public may have attended a police station," a NSW police spokesperson said.
A forensic search on Chris and Lyn's former property in Bayview ended after six days without any new evidence.
Joanne, a former Cromer High student was just 16 at the time of Lyn’s disappearance and having an illicit affair with Chris, her sports teacher.
Lyn, a photogenic northern beaches housewife and mother of two, was last seen in January 1982 before vanishing without a trace. There have been no confirmed sightings of her since.
