And it’s not just Chris’ gruelling training regime that Bobby has to take on – the actor’s diet involves eating seven meals a day. And yep, Bobby follows this routine as well.
He explained: “Every two hours we are eating, it’s become a chore, I don’t enjoy eating at all, every two hours it’s like get calories in, training twice a day, it’s full on.”
Bobby first worked with Chris on Thor: The Dark World in 2013 and have worked together on the subsequent Marvel films as well as films including Extraction and The Huntsman.
It’s not the first time details have been revealed about what exactly it takes to maintain a physique like Chris.
Speaking to GQ in 2019, Chris’ chef and nutrition consultant, Sergio Perera spilled that a lot of work goes into forming the perfect protein-rich diet for the star.
“Chris has to eat a lot when he’s adding muscle, which is where power smoothies and snacks are so useful. We keep his snacking to wholefoods where possible, such as nuts, eggs and tuna,” Sergio said.
“If he works out earlier in the day (say 11am), we’ll have a snack that’s more like a small meal at the halfway point between lunch and dinner – like Centr’s tuna and bean power bowl. Even when it comes to snacking, you have so many more options for ‘clean’ eating than you might think.”
