Needless to say, Chris' fans were moved by the emotional post.
"I’m not crying, you are," model Kris Smith penned in the comments section.
"Because that’s what good dads do," remarked another.
"Your dad is Thor. How could you not be happy," noted one more.
Others couldn't believe how neat Tristan's handwriting is.
"Why is his handwriting better than mine," questioned a fan.
"Penmanship 10/10," another praised.
Chris, who shares daughter India and sons Tristan and Sasha with his wife Elsa Pataky, may be one of the world's biggest A-listers, but loves being a dad.
Speaking to Australia’s Daily Life, the actor confessed: "The biggest thing I’ve learned by having kids is that now I know what love is. I know what frustration is. I know the full gamut of emotions, good and bad. I feel I had just scratched the surface prior. Each time you add one, it feels like three more."
The family-of-five made the decision to move from Hollywood to the northern NSW coastal town of Byron Bay in 2014 for a more chilled-out life.
Aussie actor Chris previously revealed that he does sometimes wonder what his career would be like if he hadn't met his Spanish actress wife and had kids.
"There's times when I've thought, ‘Wow, because having kids is more important to me, some of my roles have suffered.' There's definitely a couple of films I could've put way more energy into but I was like, ‘No, I'd rather be with my kids,'" Chris revealed to GQ in May last year.
"When I think about my kids, I don't want them to miss that joy. Elsa and I talk a lot about how we instil that same appreciation and respect for things. I don't want them to feel like they're privileged in any way. The fact that we have money and their parents are famous, that somehow they're special, that scares me because we grew up with no money."
