Kim Kardashian West is receiving an outpouring of support from fans and stars alike after she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room early Monday.
Kardashian West's longtime friend Chrissy Teigen defending the woman against social media trolls.
"No one is begging you for sympathy. I know the game plan is to naturally hate celebrities," Teigen tweeted in response to a fan who wrote, "No one likes robbery at gunpoint. Then again should people feel sorry for someone who owns millions of $ in jewelry alone?"
Earlier, Teigen tweeted: "Fame is interesting. Celebs are supposed to love you guys while also knowing you'd make a meme of our dead bodies to get retweets."
"People making jokes about @KimKardashian tonight would do well to remember that she's a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend. Be nice or shut up," James Corden tweeted Sunday night.
Stars flooded Twitter with condolences for the mom of two following the terrifying ordeal.
Kardashian West's rep told WHO that the reality star is "badly shaken but physically unharmed."
Her children, North, 3, and 9-month old Saint, was not involved in the incident, WHO confirmed.
