Cody Simpson has released a song about new love, Miley Cyrus.
“Golden Thing”, has sent fans into a tailspin, with speculation that the new tune is about the Wrecking Ball singer.

"Crystal dream / Cali queen," were among the first few words of the song.
Let’s take a look at the rest:
[Verse 1] Crystal dream / Cali queen / Radiant hand / Vibrant sand [Chorus] I’m shot / It’s a golden thing she’s got [Verse 2] A thousand thrills / A thousand chills / Smokey eye / Pearly white [Chorus] I’m hot / It’s a golden thing she’s got [Bridge 1] I sing softly to her / In the last daylight / And the chorus of birds / In the heights of night / And if we could be heard / For whatever it’s worth / The rulers in the sky / They’d cry [Verse 3] Diamond throne / All on her own / Coffee skin / She let me in [Chorus] I’m shot / It’s a golden thing she’s got / It’s a golden thing and I [Bridge 2] Shouted the words / In the first daylight / And the chorus of birds / Burst on into sight / Now I know that I’m heard / For whatever it’s worth / By the rulers in the sky [Verse 4] Deep blue jeans / Movie screens / Taking flight / Flashing lights
Simpson, 29, shared a black and white video of him singing his new song.
"Drop. That. S—," Cyrus, 26, commented on the photo.
Miley split with Hollywood hunk Liam Hemsworth, with the singer soon dating Kaitlynn Carter. Kaitlynn and Miley's relationship lasted just weeks, and then earlier this month the Wrecking Ball singer announced she was in a relationship with her longtime friend Cody Simpson.
"I’m very happy. We are very, very happy," Cody revealed to People over the weekend.
"She’s creative. She’s very passionate about what she does, and I’m very similar in that sense," he added.
"That’s why we get along so well. We just have a ball, yeah, and that’s the most important part of a relationship, you know?" he concluded.
He added that he and Miley had known each other for a long time and that they "found each other again in a space where we’re both not partying, working real hard, and it just keeps things healthy and it’s good."
"Any girlfriends I’ve had in the past has always been immediate romance and so it’s a different experience having been friends with somebody before and it developing naturally into something more," he told the publication.
