This year, Sportsbet has none other than Courtney Act slated to take out the top spot.
The super-popular Aussie drag queen, whose everyday name is Shane Jenek, first competed on the 2019 season of the show, and came in second place alongside partner Josh Keefe, behind actor Samuel Johnson and his partner, Jorja Freeman.
A talented performer, Courtney has singing, acting, and dancing experience, and has also done her fair share of reality TV over the years.
At just 21, Shane auditioned for the first season of Australian Idol, but was turned away by the judges, and told his voice ‘wasn’t up to it’.
The next day, he returned dressed as Courtney and performed once more, wowing the judges and taking a spot in the competition.
While she was voted out quite early, she remained a part of production, and continued to make little videos and do other fun jobs around the show, which further launched her career.
Courtney went on to star on RuPaul’s Drag Race, where she came runner up, and Celebrity Big Brother UK, which she won in 2018.
Given her reality TV pedigree and talent as a performer, we’re not surprised Courtney is expected to take out the top spot.
However, names like AFL player David Rodan, actress Bridie Carter, and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter are also in the running to win the Dancing With The Stars season.
So, we might just have to wait and see if this prediction proves correct!
You can watch Dancing With The Stars: All Stars on Sunday evenings at 7pm on Channel Seven.
