His handsomeness usually has women all over the world pining after him.
But David Beckham’s "hideous" new look has fans left shocked.
The former football star took to Instagram to tease his followers with a photo of himself in character for his upcoming role in the Guy Ritchie directed flick, King Arthur.
While usually the picture of perfection, the father-of-four’s face was unrecognisably distorted by a raised scar that travelled from his cheek to his forehead and teeth that appeared yellowed and rotten.
“Rough day at the office @kingarthurmovie @guyritchie,” the 41-year-old captioned the snap.
Fans were quick to comment on the transformation, with some joking that the sporting icon had “let himself go.”
Others were clearly fooled by the incredible make up artistry, with one fan asking “what the heck has happened to your face?”
According to The Guardian, Beckham is set to make his big screen debut as a “disgruntled knight” who is unable to retrieve King Arthur’s sword from it's stone.
Speaking with The Times, the model revealed that he had practiced his “13 lines” for “an hour everyday” to settle his nerves in the lead up to filming.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword stars Charlie Hunnam and will be released in theatres later this year.
