Signed to Sony Music when she was just 15 years old, Goodrem released her debut single, "I Don't Care", in late 2001. The album itself sold over a million copies in Australia to become one of the 10 most successful albums in Australian music history. As at 2018, Goodrem has achieved four more chart-topping singles, "Out of the Blue", "Almost Here", "In This Life" and "Wings", while only one of her five studio albums has missed the top spot–2012's Child of the Universe did reach number 2, however. Away from music, she has appeared on TV (House Husbands, Olivia: Hopelessly Devoted to You), in film Hating Alison Ashley and as a mentor in six of the seven seasons of The Voice Australia, steering winners to victory in seasons four, five and six.
