Demi Lovato's alleged drug dealer breaks his silence
Demi Lovato's alleged drug dealer, the man who supposedly supplied her with the drugs on the night she overdosed, has spoken out to TMZ.
Brandon Johnson claims Lovato sent him a text message at 4 in the morning asking him to come over. Johnson says he "read between the lines" and took pills to her home which they 'freebased' together.
Johnson claims Demi knew the drugs were not pharmaceutical, but much stronger “aftermarket” pills. However he denies having any knowledge of them being laced.
Johnson says he left at around 7 or 8 in the morning and Demi was allegedly sleeping with no sign of distress. The singer was found a few hours later and rushed to hospital after overdosing.
Lovato has since checked out of her in-patient facility to seek additional treatment for mental health and substance abuse, PEOPLE confirmed last month.
